Q | how long will my spray tan last?

A | With proper aftercare, our spray tans typically last anywhere from 8 to 10 days.

Q | are my clothes and bedding going to be stained?

A | Our solution is water based and should not stain. Although you may rub off some cosmetic bronzer prior to your first rinse, it will come out in the wash.

Q | if i want to get a tan for an event or vacation, when should i book my appointment?

A | The sooner, the better! Our ideal recommended timeline is to get your spray tan 24-48 hours prior to the day you need it for.

Q | my skin is sensitive, will the solution break me out?

A | Our solution is derived of natural ingredients, organic and water based. It is not pore clogging and sensitive skin friendly.

Q | will my spray tan be like a base tan before my trip?

A | No. Spray Tans are purely cosmetic and do not have any SPF to protect you from the sun and getting a sunburn. We strongly recommend being mindful with applying SPF protection.

Q | do i have to be naked?

A | The short answer — no. We tell our clients it is completely a personal choice whether you want to wear your birthday suit during your appointment, or if you feel more comfortable wearing a bathing suit, that is fine too. However you’re comfortable! We do not accept apologies for body shapes, sizes, scars and anything else. Just be you.

Laser Hair Removal: FAQ

Q | How many sessions do I need?

A | For nearly permanent results, individuals can require anywhere from 6-20 sessions, each spaced 4-6 weeks apart. Multiple sessions are required in order for the hair follicles to be destroyed. Maintenance sessions should be done every 6-12 months depending on the area and thickness of the hair. Remember that the goal of treatment is 80-90% removal, not 100%.

Q | How should I arrive to my session?

A | a shave within 24 hours of your appointment is important. While the hair root is invisible, the laser can seek it out within the pigment. By shaving, you reduce the chances of burns with the hair being below the skins surface. This will also minimize irritation,

Q | Why is my hair growing back after laser?

A | Even though laser treatment damage the hair follicle, they are not destroyed completely. Over time, the treatment follicles may recover from the initial damage and start growing hair again. Its a tall order to eliminate every hair follicle in a given area and therefore, you may notice a small amount of hair regrowth.

Q | What are the black dots after laser hair removal?

A | Think of them as the remnants of hair on its way out. The laser zaps the hair follicles, prompting the hair to shed. These little dots are temporary hitchhikers signaling the end of the road!

Q | How can I tell if the laser is working?

A | Laser treatments begin working immediately after the first appointment. You’ll see hair falling out the treated areas within a couple days. You can expect a 10% reduction in hair after a single session.

Q | Can you laser over ingrown hairs?

A | Laser can actually remove ingrown hairs rather than simply alleviating the irritation. You can get laser done even while you have ingrown hairs and the treatment will still be effective.

Q | How long do sessions take?

A | One of the perks of laser is how quick the process is! Sessions can take anywhere from 5 minutes to 1 hour depending on the areas getting done. For example, it takes just 5 minutes to do an underarm treatment and 30 minutes for the legs.
